PC Power Cost Calculator

Use a measured average at the wall when available. A component’s maximum rating is not necessarily its everyday draw.

Enter your details

Use electrical input power from the label or a measured average.
Enter a non-negative rate; zero is allowed. The amount is in the selected currency.
Labels amounts only; no exchange-rate conversion is performed.

How the estimate works

Monthly kWh = (estimated watts ÷ 1,000) × hours per day × days per month.

Assumptions and limits

Consumption varies with hardware, display, peripherals, power settings and workload. The entered wattage is an estimate unless measured.

Actual computer power depends on its hardware, peripherals, settings and workload. Use a measured average when available.

Example

At 300 W for 4 hours a day over 30 days: 0.3 × 4 × 30 = 36 kWh. Multiply by your own rate to estimate the energy charge.
