How the estimate works
Required coverage = room area × (1 + waste percentage ÷ 100). Packages = required coverage ÷ package coverage, rounded up.
Assumptions and limits
Package coverage and cutting allowance vary by product and layout. The estimate does not replace a site measurement.
Example
A 20 m² room with a 10% allowance needs 22 m² of coverage. If each package covers 2.2 m², estimate 10 packages.
